One of the issues that the Ministry of National Defense (MND) has emphasized in recent years is the development of the domestic defense industry. In this context, MND is working hard to meet the defense system needs of Turkish Armed Forces and security institutions by creating maximum domestic capabilities and capabilities. As a result of the studies carried out to date, it is stated that the needs of the MND are provided by around 50% of domestic facilities. Land, sea and air vehicles that require advanced technologies to meet the needs at higher rates; communication electronics and information systems, electronic warfare and sensors, rocket-missile and ammunition. The most important starting point for the opening of this department in our university has been that this qualified human infrastructure requirement will increase rapidly day by day.

The aim of the master’s program with thesis is to provide the student with the ability to access, evaluate and interpret information by conducting scientific research. This program consists of min. 8 courses, a seminar course and a thesis study, provided that it is not less than 30 ECTS credits. Seminar course and thesis work are non-credit and evaluated as successful or unsuccessful.
