Gedik Vocational School
When compared to past, countries which make progress in science and technology invest more in these areas to close the gap between the developed countries and to improve society’s living conditions. One of these investments is Gedik Vocational School, founded by Gedik Education and Social Welfare Foundation in 2010. A philanthropist businessman Dr.h.c. Halil Kaya Gedik who was awarded the “Superior Service Medal” by The Turkish Grand National Assembly of Turkey dedicated himself to equip students with the professional knowledge and skills demanded by the employers.
The academic life began with five departments in 2011-2012 academic year and currently there are 32 departments. We keep educating our students as competent and leader individuals in their fields, who have adopted modern and universal principles, know how to apply theory into practice, and how to use the knowledge and skills for the benefits to themselves, society and humanity.
